1. Application Process & Major Selection
- Applicants may apply to a graduate program different from their undergraduate major.
- No changes to the graduate school, department, program, or major are permitted once the application period ends.

2. Document Preparation & Submission
- All submitted documents become the property of the university and will not be returned.
- Due to the time required to obtain official overseas documents, applicants are strongly advised to prepare and verify all
required documents well in advance. Applications with missing documents will be disqualified.
- Transfer Students: Applicants who transferred from a lower program during their undergraduate studies must submit
transcripts from both the previous and current institutions.
- Prospective Graduates: Applicants admitted with a certificate of expected graduation must submit their final graduation
certificate and academic transcript at least 7 days before the start of the semester. Failure to obtain the degree or submit
the document in time will result in the cancellation of admission.
- Foreign University Graduates: Applicants may be disqualified if their previous educational curriculum differs significantly
from the Korean standard or is deemed insufficient for academic verification.
3. Document Verification & Admission Cancellation
- Admission will be rescinded at any time, even after enrollment, if any submitted document is found to be missing,
unofficial, or containing false information.
- The university may request additional documents for verification purposes. Admitted applicants must actively cooperate
with any requests regarding academic credential verification.
- Failure to meet any administrative or financial obligations during the registration period will result in the cancellation of
admission.
- All submitted documents will not be returned. If the information is incorrect, your acceptance will be canceled,
even after admission.
4. Visa Regulations for International Students
- It is the applicant’s strict responsibility to obtain a D-2 student visa after receiving the Standard Admission Letter. Failure
to secure the visa will lead to admission cancellation or expulsion.
- Students are not permitted to change to a visa status other than D-2 during their studies. Any unavoidable changes
must be reported in advance.
- International students already residing in Korea must apply for a visa status change at the Hanseo University Language
Education Center at least 7 days before the start of the semester.(Tel: 041-660-1303)
5. Additional Regulations
- Any matters not explicitly covered in these guidelines will be determined by the Graduate School Admissions Committee.
- This application guide is originally based on the Korean version. In the event of any discrepancy or ambiguity in
interpretation, the Korean text shall prevail.
